No matter what the design I nearly always end up trying it at least once as a disk bead.
There is just something about the look that is achieved by compressing the lines and swirls into more confining dimensions. The lines have more curve, the clear casing tends to appear more optical, and the feeling that a matched collection of these beads transmits is powerful in my opinion.
